Karin (火輪), de Kawasou Masumi (河惣益巳). Prepub dans Hana to Yume, 17 volumes chez Hakusensha entre 1992 et 1997.

'Ring of Fire.' This one is wonderful. Gung-ho and complex story, interesting characters, plot twists and switcheroos guaranteed one per volume minimum, and a grand scale setting (basically, Heaven, earth, the Taoist paradise and the realm of dragons. A part cette série, une autre oeuvre célèbre de Kawasou Masumi est Touring Express (28 tomes), mais ça n'a plus rien à voir avec la mythologie chinoise mais plutôt avec From Eroica with Love: Charles, un agent français d'interpol, est amoureux de Dean, le plus grand assassin du monde.
Karin a longtemps été indisponible sur Amazon.jp, mais il semble que cette série soit actuellement en train de ressortir au format bunko.
